OBITUARY
MR H. P. HARRISON. The death occurred at the Masterton Hospital this morning of a W’ell known and highly respected resident of Masterton in the person of Mr H. P. Harrison, of Essex Street. The late Mr Harrison was born in Wanganui in 1872 and before coming to reside in Masterton about 35 years ago, had lived for some time in Australia. For the past 30 years he had been stock buyer at Masterton for the Gear Company, and previous to that had been for some time the representative of the firm of Abraham and Williams at Masterton. For many years he had a farm at Wangaehu. The late Mr Harrison was held in high esteem for his many personal qualities. He possessed a very sympathetic nature, and although not enjoying the best of health for years he found time to visit and assist many sick people in Masterton. He was twice married and leaves a widow and one daughter by his first marriage (Miss R. Harrison) and two daughters by his second marriage (Misses S. and L. Harrison) to whom the deep sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon after a service at Hyde's Chapel at 2 p.m.
