COURSING
DERBY AND OAKS MEETING.
Arrangements are well in hand for the local coursing club’s two clays meeting at the weekend, commencing on Saturday afternoon. Excellent coursing should be seen in all the five events and competition should be keen as an even lot of fast greyhounds have entered. Afternoon tea will be available on the ground. Owners and supporters of coursing are reminded that the draw will take place tonight in the A. and P. Rooms, Perry Street, at 8.30 o’clock.
