INDOOR BASKETBALL
LANCERS DEFEAT WOOLWORTHS. Indoor basketball was seen at its best last evening when the seventh series of games in the local championships was played in the Town Hall. Lancers in their game against Woolworlhs attacked from the commencement of the game .and by superior team work defeated Woolworths 8-2. Banks brought oil the surprise Of the evening by drawing with Codys 8 all. .Another good game, full of interest, was between Cathies and Maedufl's. In the men’s game Interhouse defeated sth A.S.C., Army team in a. very even contest. Last evening’s games concluded the lirst round of the ladies’ B and junior grades, and there arc two games to be played in the ladies’ A grade section. The- positions of the various teams are as follows: — Ladies’ A Grade. Champ.
