HOME GUARD
MASTERTON BATTALION ROUTINE ORDERS. CLASSES, PARADES AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. Routine orders issued by Major A. L. Hibbs, commanding the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard are: — Classes: N.C.O. class, Tuesday, May 12, at 7.0 p.m. at Municipal Hall. Special coaching class: This class will be held at the Municipal Hall on Thursday, May 14, at 7.0 p.m. Parades: Petrol guards will parade each Thursday at 7.0 p.m. at the Municipal Hall. Other centres will adhere to individual arrangements. Parades for range practice: C Coy. will parade at the Municipal Hall at 7.45 a.m. on Sunday, May 10. Rifle to be carried. Intelligence Platoon (H.Q. Coy.) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club Range at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 10. Rifle and lunch to be carried. A Coy. will parade at Drill Hall, Sunday, May .10, at 12.30 p.m. Rifle to be carried. To Ore Ore Platoon (F Coy.) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club Range, Sunday, May 17, at 8.30 a.m. Ambulance Platoon and Signallers Platoon (H.Q. Coy.) will parade at Opaki. Rifle Club Range on Sunday, May 17, at 9.30 a.m. Wainuioru Platoon (F Coy.) will parade at Opaki Rifle Club Range al 1.0 p.m. Rifle to be carried. A Company Commanders’ Conference will be held Tuesday, May 12, at the Orderly Room al 7.30 p.m. Marched out: A Coy.: G. R. Ready to Territorials.
