WOMEN’S DIVISION ENJOYABLE ENTERTAINMENT. ' (“Times-Age” Special.) _ Members of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union gave an excellent concert last evening, every item being enjoyed. Mrs Walsh was in charge of the party. The programme was as follows:—Song, “Dandelion, Daisy and Daffodil,” “Knitting Song and Nit Wits,” Mrs Linton; monologue, “Dreaming of Thee,” Mrs A. Stretton; community sing led by Mrs Ordish; song and drill, “Ten Pretty Girls,” members of the W.D.F.U.; thumb nail sketch, “Ghosts;” song, “Chasing Rainbows,” Mrs Linton; instrumental item, Pte. N. Sander, accompanied by Sergt. M. Ferney; recitation, Mrs Stretton; song, “Fanny Adams,” Mrs Linton; song, “Nursie, Nursie,” Mesdames Linton and O’Keefe; “Victory Songs,” members of the W.D.F.U. The members of the concert party were thanked for the splendid entertainment provided and were invited to give another concert at some future date. Mrs H. E. Ordish played the accompaniments in the absence of Mrs K. H. Reid, who vzas unable to be present. Church Services.' A Church of England service will be held at Ponatahi at 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Personal. The respect in which Miss Barbara Cameron was held was shown by the large cortege at her funeral yesterday. The pall-bearers were Messrs Finch (Petone), Geo. W. Busby, T. Leach, P. Shankland, T. 7 Dunn and R. Turner. The services at the house and the graveside at Clareville were conducted by the Rev. W. J. Couling. Many beautiful wreaths covered the casket.
REGENT THEATRE o DOUBLE PROGRAMME. There will be shown tonight a brilliant double programme—“Western Caravan's,” a western story, with Charles Starrett and Irish Meredith in the leading roles, and “The Great Train Robbery,” a sensational drama featuring Jack Holt. _____
