PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr T. V. Saunders, who has been in ill health for tfiie past two years or more, and for the greater part unable to leave his bed, has so sufficiently recovered as to be able to walk unaided. Mr Saunders is well known in football and other sporting circles, and his many friends will be pleased to learn of his improvement in health. ' His many friends in this, district will regret to learn that Mr L. Goodwin has had to enter a hospital in Wellington for treatment. Mrs K. Ahipene, who had been an inmate of the Greytown Hospital for some time, has left and is now staying with her sister-in-law, Mrs T. Ahipene, South Featherston. Lance-Corporal Eric Ford is spending leave in the district. If convenient he will be entertained by the residents of the district, when a presentation will be made to him. Mr and Mrs A. Manihera have left for Taihape where they will stay for two months.
Mi' J. Bragg has left the Greytown Hospital and returned home. Mr Carter, who is an inmate of the Masterton Hospital and who underwent an operation recently, is making satisfactory progress.
