TO ROPE ONIONS

TRY THIS METHOD. If storage facilities are limited, the best way to keep onions sound during the winter months is to rope them. This method is quite an easy one. Take a piece of soft, thick string about four feet long. Double it, and tie the ends together. Thread the double siring over a stick, tie a piece of string to the knotted end, and with this bind the stems of the onions to the thick string. The ropes of onions should be hung in a cool, frostproof room or shed.
