PATRIOTIC APPEAL

NO MORE WORTHY CAUSE. A CALL TO EVERYONE. (Contributed.) Can anyone in the community inform “John Bull” of a more worthy cause than the 1942 Patriotic Appeal, which “is to provide the funds necessary for the comfort and welfare of our fighting services—the Army, Navy, Air Force and Nursing services? Have you given consideration to the comfort and welfare of the 6,000 New Zealand lads, who today are prisoners of war? Have you taken the trouble to acquaint yourself of what rehabilitation means to the boys returning to New Zealand from active service overseas?

Call at the office of “John Bull” with your contribution to the 1942 Patriotic Appeal and he will furnish you with any information you may require concerning patriotic matters. Start a 1942 patriotic list in your own establishment if one is not already in existence and hand the proceeds to “John Bull.” Farmers, business firms, professions, employees', awake and respond generously to the 1942 Patriotic Appeal. See to it that, your name is included in the list of contributors.

Not one person can afford to neglect this responsibility. “John Bull” knows that you will not neglect your responsibility.
