ABUSED BY QUISLING. SEQUEL TO MASS RESIGNATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) STOCKHOLM. April 8. Quisling’s retaliation on the mass resignation of the Norwegian clergy consists of a new law, under which lay- ■ men may function as pastors in communities where clergy are not available. Norwegian newspapers today publish a lengthy declaration in which Quisling violently attacks Bishop Berggrav and his followers and says: “These elements must be uncompromisingly treated as frauds and traitors.”
