RAID CASUALTIES

The Governor stated that the Japanese air raid on April 5 caused about 50 cesualties. Five persons were killed and 40 injured at Vizagapatam and one person was killed and five were injured at Cocanada, during the raids on April 6. It is officially stated that it is not intended to give further air raid casualties, but on this occasion the figures have been published to counteract rumours. .
