BOWLING CLUB SENIOR AND JUNIOR GAMES. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Greytown Bowling Club’s junior handicap singles competition was completed on Saturday afternoon when B. Kiernan defeated H. B. Wallace. In the semi-finals, Wallace beat Reid and Kiernan beat E. Skeet. In the seniors H. Carter beat J. Kiernan and McLeod beat Higgison. OBITUARY MRS L. BOUZAID. The death of Mrs Labeby Bouzaid, relict of Mr George Bouzaid, occurred on Saturday afternoon at the age of 82 years. The deceased came from Mount Lebanan with her husband and three children 50 years ago. She resided in Wellington for 17 years and came to Greytown 33 years ago. She leaves the following family: Messrs C. G. (Joe), Michael (Greytown), and Peter Bouzaid (Dannevirke), Mesdames L. Bouzaid, C. Grigg (Wellington), and Mrs Craig (Tawaha). One daughter died 17 years ago, and Mr Bouzaid eight years ago. There are 33 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, The funeral took place at Greytown yesterday afternoon. Personal Items. Deputy Superintendent W. Wood is attending the United District Fire Brigade Conference at Napier. Mrs L. Willis, of Napier, is the guest of her sister, Mrs E. Richards, McMaster Street. Gunner A. G. Carter was home for the Easter weekend. Miss Joyce Horton spent the weekend with her parents, Mr and Mrs A. W. Horton, West Street. Mr and Mrs F. Weakley, of Palmerston North, were the guests of Mr and Mrs G. S. Maloney, McMaster Street, over the weekend. Mr and Mrs H. Bennett and family, Lower Hutt, were weekend visitors to Greytown.
