BONDS FOR BOMBERS SALES TO DATE. (“Times-Age” Special.) The total bonds for bombers sales to date at Greytown amount to 3,319. The bonds were sold out early yesterday afternoon but a fresh supply is now to hand. The South Wairarapa Working Men’s Club have purchased 200. Euchre Party and Dance. The Morison’s Bush—Battersea Committee will hold a euchre party and dance as an Easter attraction. Prizes for the euchre will consist of lamb. Personal Items. Mr F. Brooks has found it necessary to enter the Greytown Hospital for further treatment. Mrs A. Bull, Udy Street, has returned from Palmerston North. Mrs Wise, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs J. Robb, East Street, returned to Wellington yesterday. Mrs T. N. Smallwood, Kuratawhiti Street, has returned home after a few days spent in Palmerston North. Croquet. The members of the Greytown Ladies’ Croquet Club held their monthly meeting in the Park Pavilion yesterday afternoon, Mrs H. Carter presiding. The weather has held up the play lately. Weather permitting it was decided to hold an honorary members’ gathering on Saturday week. TOWN HALL “KEEPING COMPANY.” The programme tomorrow night is headed by that exceptionally good comedy drama “Keeping Company,” in which the leading roles are taken by Frank Morgan and Ann Rutherford. Also shown will be the sensational picture, “Missing Ten Days.”
