MIGHTY ADDITION TO BRITAIN’S BOMBER FLEET: A Short Stirling heavy bomber, so massive that it completely dwarfs the onlooking airmen. It has either Bristol Hercules 14-cylinder air-cooled radial engines or Wright Cyclone double row 14-cylinder air-cooled radial engines. It has a wing span of 99 feet a length of 87 feet 9 inches, and there is a very heavy defensive armament. The undercarrage and tail wheels are retractable.
