March 29. ‘■There will be no more rich men after the war, because this is a revolution and power to make decisions on commerce and trade, which heretofore have been in the hands of. a few men, will be spread cut,” declared Sir Victor Sassoon, who has arrived here from the Orient. Asked if it were true that he was the third wealthiest man in the world, Sir V. Sassoon replied: "If China goes, I will be away down. If India goes, 1 will be looking for a job.” Sir V. Sassoon travelled aboard a United States liner which the Japanese twice claimed to have sunk in Far Eastern waters.
