SUGAR RATIONING
IMPOSITION IN UNITED STATES. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) CHICAGO, March 21. _ Mr John Hamm, acting-chief of the Office of Price Administration, announced that all sales of sugar in the United States will be halted on April 27 for one week, after which a universal rationing system will go into effect. It had not yet been determined, he said, whether the weekly individual ration would be half a pound or threequarters of a pound.
