ECONOMIST’S CONFIDENT ASSURANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, March 22. “I can say I am personally sure that we know now how to abolish want from economic insecurity and can do so when the war ends, conditionally that we win the war,” said the noted economist, Sir William Beveridge, broadcasting. “I have been working for the Government on one aspect of the peace plans—planning insurance against every kind of economic insecurity, but cannot yet disclose the nature of those plans.”
