PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age~ Special.) Last Tuesday a “parcel evening was tendered to Mr V. Wood and Miss Margaret Bargh in honour of their approaching marriage. The time was spent in card playing and dancing. Mrs Bargh was the winner at cards in the ladies’ section and Mr Matenga in the men's division. Mr Matenga supplied the music for dancing and Mr R. Cade was M.C. After supper Mr Corlet asked Mr Wood and Miss Bargh to open the ■ parcels and Miss B. McKay presented JMiss Bargh with a posy. Mr and Miss Truebridge and Miss Thompson, of Wellington, are the guests of Mrs L. McKenna, Pahautea. The Misses Chisholm are spending a few days in Wellington and are the guests of Mrs W. D.- Gordon. COSY THEATRE TONIGHT’S PROGRAMME. “One Night in the Tropics,” a picture packed with thrilling scenes and beautiful music, and “The Durango Kid,” a splendid drama of the West, will be shown tonight.
