GIRLS’ SWIMMING

INTER=COLLEGE COMPETITION SOLWAY WIN AGGREGATE. EVENTS HELD YESTERDAY. Inter-college girls’ swimming events were held at the Solway College baths yesterday between teams representing Wairarapa College, Solway College, St. Matthew’s College and St. Bride’s Convent. In previous years only relay and diving contests had been held but this year the programme was extended to include eight other events as well. In the aggregate Solway came first, St. Matthew’s second and Wairarapa College third.
