HOME GUARD SUCCESSFUL OPERATIONS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The local Home Guard members held a successful parade yesterday, various operations being undertaken. The members are showing considerable enthusiasm in their work. Another parade will be held on Sunday. National Savings. The local Post Office reports that the National Savings weekly quota for the Mauriceville district is being well maintained, last week’s total amounting to £lBO. Swimming. The children attending the Mauriceville East School are making excellent progress in swimming, and before the end of the season quite a number should have gained their certificates.
