The Wairarapa Cricket Association’s matches were continued on Saturday in fine weather, but a high wind spoilt play to a considerable extent. SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP Red Star v Wairarapa College.—On the College grounds Red Star beat Wairarapa College by 40 runs on the first innings. Scores: Red Star 108 (Lambourne 35, F. Williams 22. Glenwright 14. F. Hoar 13; Sweeney 5 for 48. Welch 3 for 67). College 68 (Hayes 16, Lever 10; Bell 4 for 10. F. Hoar 3 for 15. Renner 2 for 12, Rew 1 for 21).
