OBITUARY
MRS A. D. LOW. The death occurred yesterday afternoon at her residence, Essex Street, of Mrs Low, wife of Mr A. D. Low, of Masterton. The late Mrs Low had been in ill-health for some considerable time and her death was not unexpected. She was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Alfred Boot, Dunedin, and had resided in Masterton all her married life. Her kind and generous nature won for her a wide circle of friends who will regret to hear of her passing. She leaves a family of two daughters, Mrs Geoffrey Falloon and Miss Low, of Masterton and one grandson. The funeral took place privately this morning, the service being taken by the Rev. David McNeur. The pall-bear-ers were: Lt.-Colonel J. H. Irving, Messrs J. V. Gordon, G. D. Wilson and H. W. Robinson. MRS H. F. DEVERELL. The death occurred yesterday of Mrs Selina Rose Deverell, wife of Mr H. F. Deverell, of 22 Miriam Street, Masterton. The late Mrs Deverell, who was 66 years of age, was born in Melbourne and had resided in New Zealand, most of the time in Masterton, for the past 35 years. She is survived by her husband and one son. The funeral is .to be a private one.
