S.M. COURT FAILURE TO REPORT TO PROBATION OFFICER. (“Times-Age” Special.) Herbert William Jordan was charged before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., at the Greytown S.M. Court yesterday with having failed to comply with the terms of his probation license by failing to report to the probation officer. He was convicted and placed on probation until October 30, 1944. He is also to abstain from drinking intoxicating liquor during that period. Personal. Miss R. Trim, of the local staff of the W.F.C.A., will leave shortly to take up a position in Pahiatua. TOWN HALL TONIGHT’S ENTERTAINMENT.. Excellent entertainment is offered in the splendid drama, “Marked Woman.” which will be presented tonight, and in which Bette Davis and Humphrey Bogart are seen in the leading roles. (Recommended by the Censor for Adults).
