The Group Staff Instructors have just completed a four day period of instruction of the officers and N.C.O.’s of the South Wairarapa Battalion. CROQUET CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. In the local croquet club’s championship games Mrs Brunton beat Mrs Carter, and Mrs Maddison .beat Mrs Reid. i Bowling. The majority of the Greytown Bowling Club’s competitions have been completed. The semi-final of the fours will be played this week. TOWN HALL PROGRAMME FOR TOMORROW. An outstanding picture, “Marked Woman,” featuring Bette Davis and Humphrey Bogart, will be shown tomorrow night. (Recommended by the Censor for Adults).
