SUCCESSFUL DANCE MANY SOLDIERS PRESENT. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large number of soldiers present at the weekly ■ patriotic dance on Saturday night, the music for which was supplied by Mrs Moran. Mr Peter Habib capably carried out the duties of M.C. The Junior Patriotic Committee was responsible for the supper arrangements. Service Club. The week-end hostesses at the Service Club were: —Friday, Mrs J. M. McKenzie; Saturday, Mrs T. Saunders; Sunday, Mesdames J. C. Bidwill and Campbell Pearce. Personal. Miss Benton, Palmerston North, has been visiting her sister, Mrs E. O’Neale. COSY THEATRE WEDNESDAY’S PROGRAMME. “Captains Courageous,” a brilliant story of the days of sailing ships, will be shown on Wednesday night. (Approved for Universal Exhibition).
