The gigantic sunspot which crossed the solar meridian yesterday morning is already fulfilling expectations in the production of magnetic disturbances, interfering with radio transmission. There is every prospect that these will be more marked and will be accom? panied by auroral displays. The diameter of the* spot is seven or eight times that of the earth and the spot is visible to the naked eye. There is marked interference with Daventry reception, and cable news shows that this is world-wide.
