ST. ANDREW SOCIETY
FUTURE ACTIVITIES. SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT WITH VIGOUR. At a meeting of the council of the St. Andrew Society last evening, the annual report and balance sheet were completed for submission to the annual meeting which is to be held in the Y.M.C.A. rooms on Tuesday evening next. It was decided to hold the first gathering of the new season on Saturday, March 21, and thereafter on the first Saturday of every month, commencing with the second gathering on Saturday, May 2. Members of the forces are to be admitted to the gatherings at the same rates as piembers. The members of the council were unanimous in the view that, in such times as the present, the activities of the Society should be prosecuted with the utmost vigour, and the hope was expressed that there would be a large attendance at the annual meeting.
