PERSONAL ITEMS (‘‘Times-Age’ Special.) Advice was received yesterday from overseas of the death of Sergeant Pilot Officer Hylton George, of Alfredton. The deep sympathy of the residents of the district will be extended to his bereaved mother and his sister, Miss C. George, Tutor-Sister at the Memorial Hospital, Hastings, and to 2nd Lieut. Trevis George, who is a prisoner of war in Germany. Mr T. A. Anderson, Assistant Engineer of the New Zealand Railways, is engaged in inspection work in the district. Mr and Mrs A. H. Herbert are visiting Hawke’s Bay.
