JUSTICES OF THE PEACE LOCAL APPOINTMENTS. ("Times-Age” Special.) Amongst the newly-appointed Justices of the Peace are Mr Harold Arthur Evans, Cross Line, Greytown, and Mr Norman Stacey McLeod, storekeeper, Greytown. Post Office Hours. The Greytown Post Office is to close from 12.30 to 1.30 each day, commencing on Monday. Soldiers’ Dance. The Patriotic Committee will hold a soldiers’ dance in the Town Hall on Friday evening. Personal. Mrs R. Buick, of Humphries Street, received advice yesterday that her husband was a prisoner of war. He was previously reported as missing. TOWN HALL TOMORROW’S PROGRAMME. Three sessions of “Virginia,” with Madeleine Carroll and Fred McMurray in the chief roles, will be screened tomorrow. It is claimed to be the greatest women’s picture of the year. (Recommended by the Censor for Adults).
