CABINET CHANGES
MINISTER OF WAR PRODUCTION LORD BEAVERBROOK. SEVERAL OTHER APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, February 5. Changes in the British Government have been announced. The King has approved the following appointments: Minister of War Production, Lord Beaverbrook. Minister of Supply, Sir Andrew Duncan. President of the Board of Trade, Colonel J. J. Liewellin. Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies, Mr Harold MacMillan. Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Supply, Mr R. Assheton. Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour and National Service, Mr M. S. McCorquodale. Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport, Mr P. J. Noel-Baker. Arrangements are being made for the offices of Parliamentary and Financial Secretary to the Admiralty to be divided. Sir Victor Warrender, M.P., who has had a baronetcy conferred, is to be Parliamentary Secretary, and Mr George Henry Hall is to be Financial Secretary.
