AXIS ALIENS
- -♦ - REMOVAL FROM PROHIBITED AREAS. ACTION IN UNITED STATES. WASHINGTON, February 4. The Attorney-General. Mr Biddle, announced that all Axis aliens will be removed from 31 prohibited areas in the States of Washington and Oregon before February 15. Strategic sites in these areas include the Grand Coulee dam and the Bonneville dam, important sources of hydro-electric power. Eighty-six prohibited zones were previously instituted in California.
