PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr T. Hooper, Alfredton Road, recently had the misfortune to severely cut a hand in a mowing machine. Mrs M. C. Bride, Alfredton Road, is visiting Blenheim. She flew across Cook Strait. Miss N. Hancock, Putara, left yesterday to attend the Training College at Wellington. Mrs Hansen Senr., Kaiparoro, has been visiting Wellington. Mrs C. Boustead, Alfredton Road, has been on a visit to Hunterville. Private D. A. Failover, writing from a hospital in the Middle East said that he had had another operation, and was progressing satisfactorily. He had seen a good many Eketahuna soldiers —one seemed to run into them everywhere. They all looked fit and well. He received a patriotic parcel made up by the Women's Division of the Farmers Union at Dargaville.
