RED CROSS SOCIETY HYGIENE AND SANITATION. (“Times-Age” Special.) The third lecture of hygiene and sanitation was given by Dr. Palmer last evening in the Red Cross Society’s room. Personal. Mrs A. O’Neill, Wellington, is the guest of Mr and Mrs J. Rees, McMaster Street. Mrs T. Ryan (Wellington) returned home after having spent a holiday with her sister, Mrs H. G. Carter, McMaster Street. The friends of Mrs R. Dawson will be pleased to hear that she has recov.ered sufficiently to be able to leave the Greytown Hospital. Miss Maureen O’Connor has returned to Wellington. Mrs S. Stevens, Christchurch, is the guest of Miss L. Armstrong, Main Street. The successful candidates from the Greytown District High School who sat for the Public Service Entrance Examination in November were Hughla Avis McPhee and Gwenyth Reid. TOWN HALL TONIGHT’S PROGRAMME. There will be shown tonight “Mexican Spitfire Out West,” an outstanding comedy, featuring Leon Erroll, Lupe Velez, Cecil Kellaway and Donald Woods. (Approved for Universal Exhibition.) The associate feature is “Public Deb. No. 1,” a romantic comedy featuring Misca Auer. (Approved for Universal Exhibition.)
