(b) That publicity be given to the fact that fire extinguishers that are not regularly overhauled by the Masterton Fire Brigade or some other responsible authority are dangerous to use. Such extinguishers will not be used by members of the Brigade in an emergency. (c) That householders be advised to procure a special tap connection for an inside tap to which can be fitted a hose to deal with incendiary bombs. , Accounts totalling £1244 2s 7d were [passed. It was agreed that future meetings be hold on the last Wednesday of the quy-. terly period. It was reported that the annual accounts had been returned certified correct by the Government auditor. The chairman, Mr W. Kemp, was appointed to represent the board at the annual meeting of the Fire Boards’ Association at Wellington on February 3.
