VOTE BANNING SUNDAY PLAY. The voting at the last meeting of the Masterton Borough Council on a motion moved by Councillor G. D. Wilson and seconded by Councillor R. Russell, that in future no sport be allowed on the Park Oval on Sunday, was as follows: — For the motion: Councillors G. D. Wilson, R. Russell, J. Ninnes, W. H. Judd, W. White, A. T. Jackson. Against the motion: The Mayor (Mr Jordan), Councillors W. Kemp, H. E. Gardner, C. E. Grey. Councillor A. D. Low did not vote, and Councillor G. W. Morice was absent.
