». EKETAHUNA COUNCIL. A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH. (“Times-Age’’ Special.) At the monthly meeting of the Eketahuna Borough Council, Mr Olsen (Mayor) presided. There were also present: Crs. Simmers, Priest, Page, Marenzi, Ryan and Gallagher. The following building permits were issued: —F. Hooper. Stanley Street, motor shed, £75; F:‘ E. 'M. Farrow. High Street, addition to dwelling, £175. The Health Inspector reported a clean bill of health for the borough for the quarter ended December 31. It was reported that half of the new footpath on the Alfredton Road had been metalled. Advice was received that the 1942 Municipal Conference, which it was proposed to hold in March at Nelson, had been cancelled.
