GERMAN COERCION
NO EFFECT ON RESISTANCE. “Welt Woche,” an important Swiss weekly publication, says that German methods of coercion will have no effect on the resistance that is growing in every occupied country against the Germans.
The Swiss periodical points out particularly that during the last few months, in spite of all they can do, the Germans find themselves faced by implacable enemies whose courage can be broken by nothing they can devise. Although thousands of victims have fallen before German firing squads, the Swiss weekly insists, the struggle will go on.
