REGENT THEATRE
“PENNY SERENADE.” The splendid drama of real life, “Penny Serenade,” will be finally shown tonight. “KEEPING COMPANY.” The programme tomorrow night provides one of the most entertaining pictures ever brought to the screen. It abounds with thie right kind of fare appreciated by all tastes. There is not a dull moment in the picture, and patrons will miss a treat if they do not see “Keeping Company.” It is a picture full of hilarious comedy and hearttouching romance, and should be enjoyed by young and old. It provides an excellent story of “in-laws” and “newlyweds,” and should keep the audience in roars of laughter, while at the same time telling a touching story. The situations call for outstanding acting, and in this connection Frank Morgan, Ann Rutherford and the clever Virginia Weidler give probably their best performances yet recorded on the screen. The combination of these three artists is a sure guarantee that the presentation will be of a high standard. There will be an excellent programme of supports, covering a wide variety of subjects.
