TO MESSAGE OF SYMPATHY. DEATH OF DUKE OF CONNAUGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Governor-General (Sir Cyril Newall) has received the following message in reply to the telegram which he sent to the King in connection with the death of the Duke of Connaught: “Please expresd my sincere thanks to the Government and people of New Zealand for their kind message of sympathy, which I deeply appreciate. (Signed) George R. 1.”
