Where and how the Japanese will be attacked naturally is kept a secret but when the time for action comes a great concentration of man and air power will sweep off opposition. ENEMY CLAIMS ALLEGED LANDING NEAR SINGAPORE. REPORTED CAPTURE OF MALACCA. LONDON, January 15. Tokio official radio claims that Japanese troops entered the State of Johore last night and occupied the railway junction at Gemas and also Tampin. Later it was claimed that Japanese tank forces had reached a point 90 miles from Singapore and in the vicinity of the Endau River. The Japanese on the Malayan east coast have reached Pahang, and in the west they captured Malacca. Japanese forces have landed on an island in the Rhio Archipelago (Dutch islands which lie from 15 to 50 miles south of Singapore).
