CHINESE TROOPS
SECOND BODY REACHES BURMA SENT TO BATTLE SECTORS. MILITARY MISSION GOING TO WASHINGTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) CHUNGKING, January 16. A second body of Chinese troops has reached Burma and immediately proceeded to designated battle sectors. The noted Chinese Movie Queen, Butterfly Wu, was killed by shrapnel during the siege of Hong Kong. A special Chinese military mission is leaving Chungking for Washington to participate in an Allied war conference.
