China Ready to Throw in All Resources
CHUNGKING SPOKESMAN’S DECLARATION

(Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) CHUNGKING, January 13. “China is ready to throw all her resources of manpower into the struggle which has now spread across the South Seas, said a Chinese spokesman. He added: ‘ Russia, seemingly remote, is also vitally interested, as the supply route, by way oi the Persian Gulf, is involved. We have reason for confidence in the great battle of the South Seas, as reinforcements are on their way.”
