TENNIS CLUB
COMPETITIONS TO START EARLY
IN NEW YEAR
("Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of the Tennis Club, Mr S. Thomas was re-elected secretary and treasurer. It was decided to commence the club competitions early in the New Year. A working bee is to improve the courts.
Personal Items.
Mrs and Miss Roswell, Nelson, are the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Duggan.
Mrs Sullivan, Lyttelton, is staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs Watson.
Mr N. Hume, Alfrcdton, is spending the holidays here. Mr and Mrs Warne, Lower Hutt, are the guests of Mr and Mrs Lovegrove. Mrs Te Maari and her daughter, Mrs Murphy, who have been visiting Wanganui, have returned home. Mr H. McKenzie, Waipukurau, is the guest of Mr and Mrs T. Hobbs. Mr and Mrs J. Stratton were visitors here over the Christmas holidays.
