WAIRARAPA CENTRE

NEW YEAR TOURNAMENT. ALTERATION IN RINKS. The following alterations to teams which will take part in the Wairarapa Bowling Centre's tournament tomorrow are announced: —M. Reid, Kerslake, Powell and McCracken (s) will replace the team skipped by Hart, of Carterton. The team skipped by Henderson will now read: Playsted, Murdock. Kilgour, and Henderson. Brown will replace Carr as skip for a Park team.

SERVICE OF PRAYER

Responding to the call of his Mdjesty King George that Thursday should be considered a day for prayer,'Wairarapa bowlers will hold a special service of prayer cn the Masterton Club’s greens at 8.45 a.m. tomorrow. The Right Rev. John Davie will conduct the service. Every bowler is asked to make a special effort to be present.
