ALLIED WAR COUNCIL
QUESTION IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS MR ATTLEE’S ASSURANCE. OF CO-OPERATION. CHINA TAKING FULL PART. LONDON, December 17. Answering a question in the House of Commons regarding the creation of an Allied War Council, Mr Attlee stated that all steps were being taken to secure the utmost co-operation in the fields of strategy and supply. The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr R. K. Law, told the House of Commons that China was now taking a full part in all Allied consultations. The Prime Minister had already made it clear that we welcomed China as an ally in the common cause. It is reported in London that parallel conversations are taking place inWashington and Moscow between high officers of Britain, Russia and the United States.
