SOLDIERS HONOURED
PRESENTATIONS MADE.
(“Times-Age” Special.) Members of the Wairarapa Maori Women’s War Auxiliary gathered at the Te Ore Ore meeting house last night to honour Privates N. Haeata (Masterton) and H. Power (Pongaroa). Suitable presentations were made by the president, Mrs K. Te Tau, and Miss Haeata. Both men received lucky greenstones. There was a large attendance 1 at a dance held in the meeting house on Saturday night in honour of Private Haeata. He was presented with a money belt.
