A United Press correspondent says Thai newspapers said today that IndoChina troops, supported by aviation, are manoeuvring near the Thailand frontier, “under alien officers.” “Our neighbours,” it is added, “have alreadyfixed bayonets.” An Associated Press of America correspondent says qualified observers attached particular significance today to a statement by the Bangkok radio, that Thailand would welcome assistance from friendly Powers if forced to fight for her independence.
