MAN POWER '
SITTING OF DISTRICT COMMITTEE. (“Times-Age” Special.) A sitting of the Wairarapa Man Power Committee was held at Eketahuna yesterday, when the following cases were dealt with: Alfred Barry Welch, cheesemaker (appeal lodged by Kaiparoro Dairy Co.), dismissed, not to be called for service prior to March 1, 1942. John David Dick, cheesemaker (Kaiparoro Dairy Co.), Territorial service to be done during June, July, and August. Desmond Chadwick Braddick, farm hand (George William Braddick), dismissed, not to be called before May 31, 1942.
Gordon Frederick Wilsher, shepherd (John Joseph Dougherty), dismissed, not to be called before February 1, 1942.
William George Samuel Thomas, farm manager (Mrs M. Thomas) in respect to duration service, adjourned sine die, subject to three months’ Territorial service in May, June and July. Philip Beart Twentyman, farm hand (W. O. Twentyman), Territorial service to be done in June, July and August. Ernest Jock Darlington, farm hand (E. E. Darlington), Territorial service to be done in March, April and May.
