WAIRARAPA COURSING CLUB TIN HARE RACE MEETING. EVENTS AT MEMORIAL PARK ON SATURDAY. Thrilling racing was witnessed by a good attendance of spectators at the Memorial Park, Masterton, on Saturday afternoon, when the Wairarapa Coursing Club held its second tin hare meeting this, season. Close finishes were the order of the day and in most of the races a blanket would have covered the placed dogs. Loch Lomond, owned by Mrs. J. E. Kay, Hastings, put up a good performance to win the open hurdle event. The Novice Stake, which provided keen competition, was won by Mr. J. Hanley’s (N.S.) Spitfire Joe, in a convincing manner.
