BRILLIANT
BY GOLD MONEY SONG. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 6. A brilliant effort by Gold Money Song, who beat Cambria over five furlongs on the plough in 1.2 1-5, was the highlight of training work at Takanini today. Beginning brilliantly and galloping generously, he was always doing better than his companion, finishing three lengths in front. Cornish turned the tables on Lovaals in a gallop over a mile in 1.43 2-5, and Orelio showed much of his former brilliance by dashing over six furlongs in 1.16. The best efforts recorded on the grass were those of Air Port and Miss Jose, who ran half a mile in 51, Foxola and Heroic Star taking 51 3-5. Miss Gay covered five furlongs in 1.4 3-5, and Imperial Eagle beat River Plate in 1.4 3-5. Kraal and Brazen Bold worked well to run the distance m 1.5. The poles were 15ft out on the grass.
