CHEESE MUFFINS

THESE ARE TASTY. Sift 2 level cups plain flour, 3 level teaspoons baking powder, £ level teaspoon salt, 1 dessertspoon sugar; add 3 tablespoons chopped, lean ham, 1 cup grated cheese, paprika, and a little cayenne to taste. Melt 3 level tablespoons butter or margarine, add 1 wellbeaten egg and 1 cup milk. Add to dry ingredients and beat well together. Fill patty-tins or muffin tins and bake in a hot oven for about 25 minutes. Spread with butter and serve hot.
